“Sonic NS” is a racing game released on the Nintendo Switch platform in 2023. The early settings of the Sonic world were chaotic, and the earliest known settings are generally believed to be found in an internal document called the “Sonic Bible” from 1991. This document was Sega of America’s internal reference material, including the original story of Sonic.

The story sets Sonic’s world in the 21st century United States, portraying him as a hedgehog with speed beyond ordinary, turning blue during high-speed runs. It also introduces details about the antagonist character Eggman’s origins and more.
